Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate a student-led, self-paced learning environment utilizing specialized Montessori materials
• Observe and meticulously document individual child development and milestone achievements
• Guide children through practical life, sensorial, language, and mathematical activities
• Foster independence, self-discipline, and peaceful conflict resolution among young learners
• Maintain a beautifully organized, prepared environment that invites curiosity
• Conduct detailed parent education sessions on the Montessori philosophy and child progress

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education
• Official Montessori Teaching Credential (AMI or AMS)
• Deep understanding of early childhood cognitive and motor development
• Ability to act as a "guide" rather than a traditional lecturer
• Incredible patience, calm demeanor, and soft-spoken communication style
• Strong observational skills to know when to intervene and when to step back

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Experience teaching in mixed-age classrooms (e.g., ages 3-6 together)
• Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education
• Current Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification
• Experience managing classroom assistants or co-teachers
• Bilingual abilities to support dual-language learners
• Familiarity with modern early education documentation apps

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $45,000 - $70,000
